Milk cake. Very easy!

 









Here’s a very easy milk cake recipe that’s soft, moist, and perfect for a quick treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) milk
  • 1 cup (200g) sugar
  • 1½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients:

    • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy.
    • Add the milk and oil, stirring until well combined.
  3. Add dry ingredients:

    • Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt.
    • Gently fold the ingredients together until you get a smooth batter (avoid overmixing).
  4. Bake the cake:

    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
    • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool and serve:

    • Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
    • Slice and enjoy plain, with a dusting of powdered sugar, or topped with whipped cream.
