The Best Chicken Seasoning
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons paprika (smoked or regular)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard (optional, for depth)
1 teaspoon brown sugar or a sugar-free substitute (optional, for balance)
Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.
2. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
3. Use about 1 tablespoon per pound of chicken, rubbing it in with a little olive oil for better adhesion.
