Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) chicken tenders
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp honey (optional, for sweetness)
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prep Chicken: Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Make Lemon Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and honey (if using). Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
4. Combine: Return the chicken tenders to the pan and toss to coat in the lemon butter sauce.
5. Garnish & Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
