Baked Beans & Ground Beef Casserole


Ingredients:


1 lb ground beef


1 small onion, diced


1 bell pepper, diced (optional)


2 cloves garlic, minced


1 (28 oz) can baked beans (sugar-free if preferred)


1/2 cup sugar-free barbecue sauce


1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)


1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)


Salt & pepper to taste


1 cup shredded cheddar cheese



Instructions:


1. Preheat Oven:


Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).




2. Cook the Beef Mixture:


In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.


Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.


Drain excess grease if needed.




3. Mix the Ingredients:


Stir in the baked beans, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper.


Let it simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors.




4. Assemble & Bake:


Pour mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.


Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.


Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is melted.




5. Serve & Enjoy:


Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
